Pre-release — engineering review required.v0.4 This tool implements AWWA M45 3rd Ed. (incl. June 2020 errata to Eq. 5-18). The equation chain has been verified against Future Pipe Industries' own issued M45 submittal calculations — every pipe size in every package Empire holds, 24 sizes across seven issued packages, US customary and metric. Two inputs remain unverified against the printed manual — the Table 5-1 shape factor D_f and the Table 5-4 backfill constrained modulus M_sb. Both are user-editable and flagged amber. Unit system

AWWA M45 is written in US customary units. In metric mode all inputs and results are converted for display; the equations are always evaluated in the manual's native units.
